This soup easy and healthy. Just throw everything in a pot and simmer. It tastes great and my family loves it on a cold day. Ingredients:
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/4 teaspoon celery seed |
1 1/3 cups onions, chopped |
1 (6 ounce) can tomato paste |
1 cup frozen carrots, sliced |
5 cups cabbage, shredded |
1 (16 ounce) can tomatoes, chopped |
1 cup canned red kidney beans, drained and rinsed |
1 1/2 cups frozen peas |
1 1/2 cups frozen green beans |
11 cups water |
2 cups spaghetti, broken, uncooked |
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients except spaghetti in a 4 quart pot, and stir until ingredients are well mixed. 2. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer about 45 minutes or until vegetables are tender. 3. Add uncooked spaghetti and simmer for another thee to five minutes. |
