yummy mince pie Ingredients:
1 tablespoonoil |
2 garlic cloves |
1 1/2 tablespoon flour |
1 onion finely chopped |
500g mince |
1/2 cup beef stock (liquid) |
2 tablespoons tomato puree |
salt n pepper |
400g pastery |
1 egg yolk |
1 tablespoon milk |
Directions:
1. heat oil in fry pan. add onion and garlic and cook until onion is golden. stiring all the time. add mince and cook quickly until meat is browned and crumbling. stir in flour and cook 30 seconds. gradully add stock and bring to the boil stiring constantly. stir in tomato puree salt n pepper. simmergently for 10 mins set aside to cool. cut pastery in half. on a lightly floured board roll out one half of pastery and line the tim, wet edges of pastery, spoon meat filling into pastery, combine egg yolk and milk to brush pastery. cook 200c for 25 mins until golden |
