Ingredients:
250 g ground sausage |
250 g minced steak |
1 onion, grated |
2 cloves garlic, crushed |
1 teaspoon fresh lemon rind |
1 teaspoon lemon juice |
1 teaspoon mixed herbs |
1/4 cup parsley, chopped |
1/4 cup cooked rice |
1 tablespoon tomato paste |
1 egg, lightly beaten |
1/4 cup mint jelly |
1 tablespoon french dressing |
2 teaspoons chopped mint or 1/2 teaspoon dried mint leaf |
Directions:
1. combine all the ingredients, mix well. 2. shape tablespoonfuls of mixture into flat rolls around the end of 20 soaked wooden skewers. 3. cover, refrigerate 30 min. 4. barbecue until kebabs are browned all over and cooked thoroughly. 5. Mint Dip: combine jelly and dressing in a pan, stir over low heat until jelly is melted, stir in mint. |
