My grandmother was always the baker in our family and made these pecan pies for every special occasion! Ingredients:
1 cup butter, melted |
1 3/4 cups sugar |
1/4 cup brown sugar, packed |
3/4 cup white karo |
5 eggs, beaten |
2 -3 teaspoons vanilla |
2 cups chopped pecans |
2 unbaked pie shells |
Directions:
1. Mix together all ingredients in a large bowl. 2. Pour evenly into 2 pie shells. 3. Bake at 300 degrees for 45-55 minutes. |
