This is good with any pasta and sauce or toasted. It is a fine-grained bread; just the right consistency. Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese if you can, if not the cheese in a jar is fine. Makes good sandwiches. Ingredients:
1 1/8 cups water |
3 tablespoons butter |
1 1/2 tablespoons honey |
3/4 cup parmesan cheese (grated) |
1 teaspoon salt |
3 1/2 cups bread flour |
2 teaspoons yeast |
1 cup water |
2 1/2 tablespoons butter |
1 tablespoon honey |
2/3 cup parmesan cheese (grated) |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
3 cups bread flour |
1 1/2 teaspoons yeast |
Directions:
1. Put into the bread machine in the order that the manufacturer recommends. 2. Basic cycle; light crust; loaf size. 3. Watch after it begins to knead to see if you need more liquid or more flour as you want it the right consistency-add a little at a time till it is right. 4. Cool on rack. |
