Grandma Mimi's matzoh balls Ingredients:
2 cups matzo meal |
9 eggs |
1/2 cup margarine, melted |
chopped parsley |
6 ounces ice cold water or 6 ounces seltzer water |
Directions:
1. Beat eggs and add margarine. Beat. 2. Add water and beat. 3. Add parsley then matzoh meal. Mix very well. 4. Refrigerate for at least 5 hours. 5. Make balls of 1 tablespoon - add to boiling water. 6. Boil, partially covered, 45 minutes. 7. Remove and place on a ?-covered cookie pan. 8. Cover with plastic and freeze. 9. Next day, put in plastic bags and freeze. |
