Mimi's Cornmeal English Muffin Bread--For Bread Machine |

This is a yummy bread when you spread it with butter and honey. Toast it or not-it's good. Makes good sandwiches, too, especially if it's a deli meat and provolone cheese with lettuce and tomato. Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups water |
1 large egg |
1 1/3 tablespoons sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 cup yellow cornmeal |
3 cups bread flour |
2 1/2 teaspoons regular dry yeast |
1 1/8 cups water |
1 small egg |
1 tablespoon sugar |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
3/4 cup yellow cornmeal |
2 1/4 cups bread flour |
2 teaspoons regular dry yeast |
Directions:
1. Put in your breadmaker according to manufacturers instructions. 2. Medium crust. 3. Cool on rack. |
