This is one of the dishes my grandmother used to make. Wonderful taste and texture. I have gotten to the point where I dont like any other corn bread. No doubt Corn Bread purists will complain, but just try it. Ingredients:
1 cup melted butter |
3 cups bisquick |
1 1/4 cup sugar |
3 large eggs |
1/2 teaspoon baking soda |
6 tablespoons yellow corn meal |
1 1/2 cup milk |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. 2. Mix all ingredients together for 5 minutes. 3. Pour in a greased 9x13 pan. 4. Bake for about 30 minutes. |
