This is another of Mrs Frances very rich cakes that she bakes.... Its fit for a party. Ingredients:
1 german chocolate cake mix |
1 (14 oz bag) kraft caramels |
1 cup chopped nuts |
1/3 cup evaporated milk |
1/2 cup butter |
1 reg size bag milk chocolate chips |
Directions:
1. Mix cake by directions on box. 2. Pour half of the batter in a 9 x 13 inch oblong pan. 3. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. 4. Melt butter and caramels with milk in saucepan; pour mixture 5. over cake. 6. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top of this mixture and add layer of nuts. 7. Pour remaining cake mix on top of this and bake for 20 minutes at 250 degrees. 8. Bake additional 10 min at 350 degrees. |
