MAKES 2 PIES. The name for these pies should be Million Pound Pies. They are so good and oh yes so fattening. My grandmother made these pies for Easter and I now enjoy making them for my family. Ingredients:
1 can sweetened condensed milk |
1/4 cup lemon juice |
1 large container of cool whip |
1 # 2 can crushed pineapples |
1 medium sized can diced peaches |
1 small can mandarin oranges, cut into halves |
1/4 cup shredded coconut, optional |
1/2 cup chopped pecans, optional |
2 graham cracker crust |
Directions:
1. Blend sweetened condensed milk and lemon juice until smooth. 2. Stir in large container of cool whip. 3. Add crushed pineapples, peaches and mandarin oranges. 4. Stir in coconut and pecans if desired (reserving some of both for top). 5. Pour evenly into the 2 graham cracker crusts. Top with additional nuts and coconuts. 6. Chill at least 3 hours or overnight. |
