This recipe was given to my friend Kath over 38 years ago - easy to make and won't last long... if you know what I mean! Give it a go, you'll love it! Ingredients:
put in a bowl |
6 ounces semi-sweet chocolate |
12 ounces german sweet chocolate |
1 cup marshmallow fluff |
put in a saucepan |
2 cups sugar |
1 teaspoon butter |
3/4 cup evaporated milk |
Directions:
1. Set over low heat and bring gradually to the boiling point. 2. Boil 6 minutes. 3. Pour over the chocolate mixture. 4. Add: 5. 1/8 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 6. Beat until the chocolate melts. 7. Stir in 1 cup chopped nuts. 8. Spread in a lightly buttered pan about 8x12 inches. 9. Let stand a few hours before cutting in squares. |
