From The Green Thumb Harvest cookbook. Haven't tried this yet, Ingredients:
3 cups cooked millet |
3 stalks celery, finely chopped |
1 large onion, finely chopped |
3 eggs, beaten |
1/2 cup breadcrumbs |
oil (for frying) |
breadcrumbs, for coating |
Directions:
1. Combine the millet, celery and onion in a large mixing bowl. Slowly stir in the eggs and 1/2 cup of bread crumbs. Mix well. Let stand for 1 hour. 2. Heat some oil (about 1/4 cup) in a large skillet. Form patties out of the millet mixture, coat in bread crumbs and fry until golden brown on both sides. |
