This recipe is so easy, yet so tasty. The kids love it. I obtained this recipe from a Meals on Wheels volunteer who makes this as a treat for her customers when their birthday comes around. I make the cakes, she makes the ice cream and our customers are always happy. Read more . Can substitute just about any candy bar. We have made it with Snickers, Almond Joy, Hersheys Milk Chocolate, Peanut Butter Cups, Three Musketeers but our favorite is the Milky Way. Enjoy Ingredients:
8 milky way bars |
6 eggs well beaten |
1-1/2 cups granulated sugar |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
2 large cans evaporated milk |
2 cups milk |
Directions:
1. Melt candy bars with 2 cups milk then cool.
2. Mix eggs and sugar in bowl then beat well.
3. Add vanilla evaporated milk and candy mixture to 1 gallon freezer can.
4. Finish with milk then freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
