A bit like a missippisi mud cake, Ingredients:
6 regular size milky way candy bars |
1 cup butter |
2 cups sugar |
4 eggs |
21/2 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 cup buttermilk |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1/2 cups pecans |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 277 degrees. 2. In double boiler mealt candy bars with 1/2 cup butter. 3. In mixing bowl cream the other 1/2 cup of butter with the sugar adding eggs one at a time. 4. Mix flour n baking sodo together on piece of wax paper. 5. Add vanilla to buttermilk n mix. 6. Alternately add flour n buttermilk to creamed mixture, mix thouroughly after each addition. 7. Begin and end with the flour. 8. Fold in pecans and candy bar mixture. 9. Pour into a 10x16x2 pan. Bake 15 minutes. 10. Can frost with favorite chocolate icing. |
