Long time family favorite, handed down from my great grandmother. Ingredients:
3 cups 2% low-fat milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon |
1/3 cup sugar |
1 tablespoon butter |
6 slices white bread, toasted |
Directions:
1. Heat milk , vanilla, cinnamon, butter and sugar to a simmer. 2. Tear up toast into pieces and add to the milk. 3. Mix until toast is softened. |
