This recipe sounds very intriguing, but I haven't tried it yet. I got it from a friends cookbook, which was I think a Mennonite cookbook, something like that anyway. Ingredients:
1 pie shell |
3/4 cup sugar |
1 pinch salt |
3 tablespoons flour |
2 cups milk |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in pie shell and mix with your fingers. Sounds pretty ridiculous, but only fingers mix it properly. 2. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. 3. Not sure if the pie shell should be prebaked or not. I will make this pie with it unbaked, then let y'all know. |
