Alot of us feel that chocolate will help us in our daily health.But watch out for those calories. Found this recipe in the cooking light magazine. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 1/2 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped |
2 cups low-fat milk |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
1 large egg (lightly beaten) |
1/2 cup almonds |
Directions:
1. Add the sugar and cornstarch in a saucepan; gradually adding the milk, stirring with whish or hand beater until well blended. 2. Stir in chocolate. 3. Bring to a boil over medium high heat; cook at least 7 minutes, stirring rapidly. 4. Gradually add hot milk mixture to the egg, using a whisk. 5. Return the milk mixture to the pan and cook until thick and bubbly. 6. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla. 7. Spoon into bowl. 8. Add a couple of almonds on top. 9. Either eat it after it cools or place plastic wrap over the top of it and place it into the refrigerator. |
