This icing is a milky, creamy caramel icing. Ingredients:
3 cups powdered sugar |
1 cup light brown sugar |
1/2 cup butter |
1/2 teaspoon vanilla |
4 tablespoons milk |
Directions:
1. In a small saucepan, melt butter. Add brown sugar. Cook over low heat 2 min., stirring constantly. Add milk. Continue cooking until mixture boils. Remove from heat. Gradually wisk in powdered sugar. Add vanilla and mix well. If necessary, thin with few drops of milk. Spread on cooled cake quickly. |
