Milk-and-honey White Bread

Ingredients:
1 package (1/4 ounce) active dry yeast
2-1/2 cups warm milk (110 degrees to 115 degrees)
1/3 cup honey
1/4 cup butter or margarine, melted
2 teaspoons salt
8 to 8-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, dissolve yeast in warm milk.
2. Add honey, butter, salt and 5 cups of flour; beat until smooth.
3. Add enought remaining flour to form a soft dough.
4. Turn onto a floured board; knead until smooth and elastic, about 6-8 minutes.
5. Place in a greased bowl, turning once to grease top.
6. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
7. Punch dough down and shape into two loaves.
8. Place in greased 9-in.x5-in.x3-in. loaf pans.
9. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.
10. Bake at 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown.
11. Cover with foil if necessary to prevent overbrowning.
12. Remove from pans and cool on wire racks.
13. Yield: 2 loaves.
