A vinegar based recipe great for pulled meat sandwiches. Is thin and NOT sweet which is why Mikey, my DH, likes it! All measurements are approximate, no measuring spoons were used in the making of this recipe (although measuring cups were). Very mild as is, spice it up with hotsauce and more black pepper Ingredients:
1/3 cup rice wine vinegar |
1/4 cup red wine vinegar |
1/8 cup apple cider vinegar |
1 teaspoon spicy brown mustard |
1/3-1/2 cup tomato puree |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
1/2 teaspoon onion powder |
1/4 teaspoon paprika |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper (more pepper will make it hotter) |
1 dash red pepper flakes |
salt |
hot sauce (optional) |
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients to a mason jar or some container that you can put a lid on and shake. 2. Shake. 3. Leave it sit on your counter or at room temperature for at least 1 hour. |
