Middle Eastern Feta Spread |

Serve on pita crisps. Cooking time is the chilling time. Ingredients:
8 ounces feta cheese |
1/4 walnuts, toasted and finely ground |
2 garlic cloves, mashed |
2 tablespoons red pepper paste |
3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil |
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano |
1 tablespoon chopped fresh mint |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1 bay leaf |
Directions:
1. Place feta cheese on a plate and mash very well with a fork. 2. Add all other ingrdients and mix very well. 3. Place bay leaf into center of dip. 4. Cover and chill at least 4 hours before serving. 5. When ready to serve, stir; REMOVE the bay leave and stir more. 6. Serve. |
