This is another very old recipe that is enjoyed not only by the children but the adults as well. While good anytime I like to prepare this for the children's holiday tray. Quick, easy and good. Ingredients:
1 cup peanut butter |
1/2 cup syrup |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
2 cups corn flakes |
1 cup rice krispies |
Directions:
1. Mix peanut butter, syrup and brown sugar over low heat until melted and well dissolved. 2. Stir in the Cornflakes and Rice Krispies. 3. Press into a buttered 8x8 pan. 4. Cool, then slice into squares. |
