Microwaved Potatoes In Butter And Garlic |

A quick & easy potato side dish that I make with meatloaf & chicken(love to drag my chicken through the butter) I've guestimated at the measurements, I tend to use more butter, only because I love it. Ingredients:
4-5 medium potatoes, cleaned and cut into bite size(or bigger) pieces; leaving the skin on. |
fresh ground pepper |
salt (kosher, sea or table, i've used them all) |
lawry's garlic salt (green lid) |
1/2 cup butter; divided |
Directions:
1. Put the cut potatoes into a microwave safe dish. 2. Sprinkle your desired amount of pepper, salt & garlic salt. 3. Place 4 tablespoons of butter on top of potatoes. 4. Microwave covered for 8 minutes. 5. Season with more pepper, salt & garlic salt; stir and place remaining 4 tablespoons of butter on potatoes. 6. Microwave 8 minutes more, or until nice and tender. |
