Yes you heard right, microwavable jam! This recipe is very easy and was brought to my attention by the good food magazine June 2010 Ingredients:
500 g summer fruit |
500 g jam sugar |
Directions:
1. Briefly blend the fruit and place in a large microwave proof bowl with the sugar. Microwave on high for 3 mins then stir and microwave for a further 3 minutes stirring after. 2. Finish with a further 2 mins and pour into warm sterilised jars. Once bottled will keep for up to 6 months keep in fridge after opening. |
