Microwave Steamed New Potatoes & Brussels Sprouts |

Yet another Brussels Sprouts Recipe Ingredients:
1/2 lb new potato |
1/2 lb brussels sprout |
1/2 cup chicken broth or 1/2 cup water |
1 dash fresh ground pepper |
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley |
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives |
Directions:
1. Combine potatoes, brussels sprouts and broth in 2 quart microwave safe casserole. Cover tightly with lid or plastic wrap turned back slightly on one side. 2. Microwave on high 4 minutes. Stir. Cover again. Microwave on high 3-6 minutes or until vegetables are tender. 3. Let them stand, covered, 5 minutes. To serve, sprinkle vegetables with pepper, parsley and chives. |
