You can't find a good praline in Los Angeles so you have to make them for yourself. I make them in the microwave during the holidays and for school bakesales and gifts. This is a tried and true recipe and a recipe that really works each time! Read more ! (Its also a five ingredient treat!) Ingredients:
2 1/2 cups of brown sugar |
1 cup of heavy whipping cream |
2 cups of pecan halves |
2 tb of regular, salted butter |
1 tsp. of pure vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Using a large microwave-proof glass bowl, add the cream and the brown sugar together. 2. Microwave on high for 12 minutes. 3. Remove the bowl from microwave and add the butter, vanilla and pecans. 4. Stir well. 5. Using a large tablespoon, drop the candy on to Release aluminum foil, a silicone matt or waxed paper. 6. Let cool and eat! |
