1/3 cup milk |
1 egg, beaten |
1 tablespoon ketchup |
1 medium onion, chopped |
3 tablespoons old-fashioned oats |
1 tablespoon minced fresh parsley |
1/2 teaspoon each salt, dried marjoram and dried thyme |
dash pepper |
1-1/2 pounds ground beef |
1 tablespoon soy sauce |
1 tablespoon honey |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine the first five ingredients. Add seasonings; mix well. Crumble beef over mixture and mix well. Pat into a 9-in. x 5-in. microwave-safe dish. Combine the soy sauce and honey; spread over loaf. Cover and microwave on high for 18-1/2 minutes or until meat is no longer pink and a meat thermometer reads 160°, turning dish a quarter turn every 10 minutes; drain. Let stand 5 minutes before slicing. Yield: 6 servings. |
