Microwave Macaroni and Cheese |

This is from Home Cooking magazine, Mar/Apr 2006 edition. It's fast, easy and delicious. For personal taste, we leave out the onion and tabasco, and double the cheese. Ingredients:
1 cup raw macaroni |
2 tablespoons flour |
1 tablespoon dehydrated onion |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 dash tabasco sauce |
1 cup milk |
1 cup water |
2 tablespoons margarine |
1 cup cheese, shredded |
Directions:
1. Mix first five ingredients in 2 quart microwave-safe bowl. 2. Add milk and water. 3. Dot with margarine. 4. Zap on High 5 minutes with cover. Stir, then zap on medium 10 minutes, stirring every 3 minutes. 5. Add cheese, let stand 5 minutes to melt. |
