Ok, another cookie I tried, from another Cookie Monster foodie like myself, that turned out to be THE BEST OATMEAL COOKIE I have ever made - and I've made a ton of them in my lifetime!
Ingredients:
like shine's cookie that i made the other day, i knew no one would see this fantastic older recipe unless i posted it so it would at least be in the new today list, or you happened to just stumble upon it. it really is the best oatmeal cookie i've ever tasted, and if you're an oatmeal cookie fan, you really should try these...and even if you're not one, these may convert you, as they did me. i didn't have enough raisins, so i ended up splitting the batch in half - half with the raisins, and half with dried cranberries and white chocolate chips...both variations were excellent. it must be the soaking step in this recipe that makes the raisins (and dried cranberries) so plump and tender and delicious in the end product. i have never been a huge raisin fan myself, yet i found i couldn't resist these little bites of heaven! the link is copied below.
