This is a delicious smoothie that only uses 4 ingredients .The basis for this recipe came from a smoothie recipe book, but I improvised on a couple of ingredients to use what I had on hand. It is so tasty! I use an 8oz can of mango nectar from the Asian market. I really like Trader Joe's Vanilla and Cream yogurt cups. My local grocery (Meijer's) carries frozen mango chunks - which makes this very easy. Make sure your fruit is frozen ahead of time. The smoothie is richer and doesn't require ice. Ingredients:
1 cup mango nectar |
4 ounces vanilla yogurt |
1 banana (sliced and frozen) |
2 cups mangoes (chopped and frozen) |
Directions:
1. Place the mango nectar and yogurt in a blender. Add the banana and mango chunks and blend until smooth. |
