Ingredients:
3/4 cup powdered sugar |
1 tablespoon cornstarch |
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves |
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper |
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice |
1 egg white |
2 tablespoons cold water |
1 cup pecan halves |
vegetable cooking spray |
Directions:
1. Combine first 7 ingredients. 2. Whisk egg white lightly; add 2 tablespoons water, whisking mixture until blended. 3. Dip pecan halves into egg white mixture. Drain well with a slotted spoon. Dredge in sugar mixture. Place nuts in a single layer on a baking sheet coated with cooking spray. Bake at 250° for 1 1/2 hours. |
