Mexican Sweet Bread (Bread Machine) |

A good, slightly sweet bread. The egg adds flavor, but is not too eggy tasting. This is our favorite basic bread. Ingredients:
1 cup milk |
1/4 cup margarine or 1/4 cup butter |
1 egg |
1/4 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
3 cups bread flour |
1 1/2 teaspoons yeast |
Directions:
1. Measure carefully, placing all ingredients in bread machine pan in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Set to sweet or basic cycle. Makes a 1 1/2 pound loaf.
