An easy, versatile, super delicious chicken casserole with a Mexican flair that I actually found on one of those little free recipe cards that you sometimes find at the grocery store. Got this one at Winn Dixie years ago - have loved it since! Read more !! If you like Mexican flavors, you'll love it!! Ingredients:
chopped cooked chicken, about 2 to 3 cups |
1 can cream of chicken soup |
1 can cream of mushroom soup |
1 cup sour cream |
1 can chopped green chilis |
1 chopped onion ( i sautee mine before adding) |
1/2 cup milk |
1/2 tsp. salt |
1 bag of doritos, crunched up a little (any flavor, taco and nacho cheese are great) |
grated cheese (cheddar, monterey jack, cojack) |
Directions:
1. Mix everything together, pour into sprayed casserole dish or 9 x 13 pan. 2. Cover with grated cheese. 3. Bake at 350 for about 35 minutes, or until very bubbly. 4. I've also added a can of chopped ripe olives to mine. |
