A girl I used to work with gave me this recipe, it is great my whole family loves this. If you like mexican food you have to try these. Ingredients:
12 large pasta shells, cooked and drained |
1 lb ground beef |
1 (12 ounce) jar picante sauce |
1/2 cup water |
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce |
1 (4 ounce) can diced green chilies |
4 ounces shredded monterey jack cheese |
1 (2 7/8 ounce) can durkee onions |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef. Drain. 2. Combine picante sauce, water, and tomato sauce. 3. Stir 1/2 cup sauce, chilies, 1/2 cup cheese and 1/2 can durkee onions into ground beef. Mix well. Pour half of remaining sauce mixture on bottom of 8 x 12 baking dish. 4. Stuff cooked shells with meat mixture. 5. Arange shells in baking dish. 6. Pour remaining sauce over shells. 7. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 30 minute. 8. Top with remaining cheese and onions; bake uncovered 5 minute. |
