Ok, so the name isn't exactly the best but I wasn't really sure what to call it. It definitely has a mexican flair to it though. My husband and I needed to use up some beef and didn't have a whole lot in the house and this is what we came up with it. Turned out surprisingly awesome! Ingredients:
1 lb ground beef |
1 package knorr spanish rice |
1 (8 ounce) can diced tomatoes |
1 (8 ounce) can kidney beans |
1 green pepper, chopped |
1/4 cup onion |
1 -2 cup water |
2 tablespoons chili seasoning mix |
1 teaspoon onion powder |
1 teaspoon season salt |
1 teaspoon pepper |
1 teaspoon paprika |
Directions:
1. Brown ground beef and drain. 2. cook rice per package directions. 3. mix everything in a big pot and bring to a boil and simmer for 10min. 4. serve with shredded cheese and sour cream. |
