This is an easy and tasty one-dish meal. I usually have all the ingredients on hand. You can also play around with the ingredients you have. Enjoy!
Ingredients:
3/4 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, chopped
1 1/2 tablespoons chili powder
2 teaspoons cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
3 cups cooked rice
1 (15 ounce) can black beans, drained
2 (4 ounce) cans diced green chilies
1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes, drained
Directions:
1. Brown beef and onions over medium high heat until meat is cooked through and onions are soft, about 5 minutes.
2. Add spices.
3. Stir in rice, beans, chilies and tomato.
4. Stir until heated through about 3-5 minutes.
