Very good, I make often. Ingredients:
1 deep dish pie shell, sprinkled with cornmeal |
1 lb hamburger |
1/4 cup green pepper, chopped |
1/2 cup sweet onion, chopped |
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can corn, drained |
1/4 cup cornmeal |
1/2 teaspoon oregano leaves |
1/4 teaspoon chili powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
8 ounces salsa |
1 pinch sugar |
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded |
1 egg |
1/4 cup milk |
1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Brown and drain hamburger,green pepper and onion. 2. Mix with the next seven ingredients. 3. Pour into unbaked deep dish pie crust that has been sprinkled with cornmeal. 4. Bake at 425°F for 25 minutes. 5. Take out of oven and put topping on (the last five ingredients). 6. Bake about five more minutes. 7. Cool and slice. |
