Chili powder and zesty picante sauce give this meat loaf a nice Mexican flavor. Ingredients:
3/4 cup milk |
2 eggs, beaten |
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs |
1/4 cup onion, finely chopped |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
1/2 teaspoon chili powder |
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef |
1 (16 ounce) jar picante sauce, warmed |
Directions:
1. In a large bowl, combine first 7 ingredients, then add beef and mix well. 2. Pat into greased 8 x4 x2 loaf pan. 3. Bake uncovered at 350F for 1 hour or until juices run clear; drain. 4. Top with picante sauce. |
