A family recipe passed down from my Grandmother - this beef mix makes good hamburgers, and a pretty decent meatloaf. Use your imagination for different toppings (such as salsa or Campbells Pepperjack Cheese soup for your meatloaf) Both - freeze well for future use Ingredients:
1 lb hamburger |
1/2 cup breadcrumbs |
1 egg |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon black pepper |
1 onion, small diced |
1 green pepper, diced |
1/2 teaspoon dried sage |
3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes |
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients. 2. form into your hamburger patties, or meatloaf (it's your choice). |
