I make these for the kids... they like better than regular grilled cheese. They don't go for the hot peppers.. us adults do! Ingredients:
24 corn tortillas... i have used flour... but have to butter each one |
8 oz cheese.. adults like monterrey jack, kids like american |
12 pieces green chili peppers... we like fresh... cut length wise thin |
3/4 cup salsa... like pace mild |
Directions:
1. Divide cheese among tortillas 2. A little of the peppers... it is hot! 3. Add a spoonful of the sala 4. Fold over and sucure with toothpicks 5. Fry in a buttered skillet turning often until crisp and cheese is melted... 6. Hand out napkins! |
