Mexican Green Beans

This is best with fresh green beans, but canned green beans also work well.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon canola oil
1 lb green beans, trimmed
1 large onion, chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 (10 ounce) can rotel tomatoes
2 teaspoons basil, chopped
1/2 fresh lemon, juice of
Directions:
1. In a large skillet, sauteā€š beans, onion and garlic in hot oil until beans are tender-crisp.
2. Stir in Rotel and basil.
3. Simmer uncovered for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
4. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
