Super simple and easy to make. Makes 81 one-inch squares. Served at room temperature or chilled, it's simple and so deliciously Mexican! Ingredients:
1 (4 ounce) can chopped green chilies, well-drained |
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper or red pepper |
1 pound (4 cups) grated cheddar cheese |
6 eggs, slightly beaten |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350ยบ. 2. Grease a 9-inch square baking pan. 3. Spread peppers in prepared pan. 4. Sprinkle with cayenne pepper. 5. Cover with cheese. 6. Pour beaten eggs over cheese. 7. Bake for 30 minutes or until firm in the center. Cool. 8. Cut into 1-inch squares and serve |
