The rum adds a special twist to this fruit salad! Ingredients:
1 cup beet, cooked and sliced |
1 cup banana, sliced |
2 medium oranges, peeled and sliced |
2 medium apples, cored and sliced |
1 cup pineapple, cubed |
lettuce leaf |
1/2 cup pecan halves |
1/4 cup dark rum (80 proof) |
1/4 cup lemon juice |
1/4 cup honey |
Directions:
1. On serving platter, arrange beets and fruits on letuce leaves in decorative pattern. 2. Top with nuts. 3. Blend rum, lemon juice, and honey. 4. Pour over salad. |
