A wonderful, wonderful side for grilled meats, pork, brisket, chicken, etc. Ingredients:
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons vegetale oil |
2 (16 ounce) cans cream style corn |
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder |
2 eggs |
3/4 cup yellow corn meal |
2 (4 ounce) cans green chilies |
1 (8 ounce) package cheddar cheese, grated |
Directions:
1. In medium size bowl, combine, corn, garlic powder, eggs and corn meal 2. Spread 1/2 mixture in a greased 2 quart casserole 3. Top with 1 can chilies, and 1/2 of the cheese 4. Repeat layers 5. Bake at 350 degrees for about 50 minutes 6. Delicious |
