MEXICAN CHOCOLATE SAUCE This is a recipe I obtained from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Marcello Estate in Denton, Texas in 1984. Ingredients:

                                                1 cup cocoa |
                                                1/2 cup granulated sugar |
                                                3/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon |
                                                3/4 cup half-and-half |
                                                1/2 cup butter melted |
                                                1/4 cup honey |
                                                3 tablespoons coffee liqueur |

                    Directions:

                                1. Combine first 3 ingredients in saucepan then gradually whisk in half-and-half, butter and honey. 2. Bring to a boil over medium heat stirring constantly. 3. Remove from heat and stir in liqueur then serve warm over ice cream or pound cake. |
