I have been making this dip for a while. Saw it mentioned on Facebook and thought I would share. Also good with ground turkey. Ingredients:
1/2 lb ground beef(or turkey) |
1 small onion,chopped(1/4c) |
1 can refried beans |
1 can(14.5 oz) diced tomatoes,drained |
1 c shredded mexican blend cheese |
8 oz rounf tortilla chips |
Directions:
1. Spray 12 skillet-heat over medium. Cook beef and onion till the beef is done, stirring occasionally,8-10 mins. Drain well. 2. Stir in beans and tomatoes. Cook 3-4 mins and stir till hot. Stir in 3/4 c cheese. Spoon into serving dish or 2 qt. slow-cooker,top with remaining cheese. Wuill hold in slow-cooker for 2 hours. Serve with tortilla chips. At Christmas,it's nice with the grenn and red chips. |
