This is so soothing and a great source of calcium! From an almond site. Ingredients:
3 1/2 cups milk |
1/2 cup water |
1/3 cup almond butter |
1 tablespoon cocoa powder |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
3/4 teaspoon almond extract |
sugar, to taste (or artificial sweetener) |
Directions:
1. Combine all ingredients except almond extract and sweetener in a medium saucepan. Cook over medium heat, whisking constantly, until mixture is smooth and comes to a boil. Remove from heat. Stir in almond extract, sweeten to taste and serve. |
