Mexicali Pork Chops

Serve with sour cream and or Guacamole. It's not necessary to use all the seasoning mix.
Ingredients:
4 boneless pork loin chops
oil, for browning
1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning
1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
4 slices monterey jack pepper cheese
Directions:
1. Sprinkle chops with taco seasoning.
2. Use a meat mallet to pound the seasoning into the meat if desired.
3. Brown chops in a little oil on both sides over medium heat, about 10 minutes.
4. Add tomato sauce and bring to a simmer.
5. Cover and simmer 30 to 40 minutes until very tender.
6. Remove chops to serving platter.
7. Top with cheese.
8. Pour remaining sauce over all.
