I was looking through a kosher cook book and saw this conversion table at the appendix. As many recipes as we get all over the world, I thought this could be helpful to someone. Ingredients:
28 grams = 1 ounce |
1 kilogram = 1000 grams |
1 kilogram is just under 2 1/4 pounds |
1/2 ounce = 14 grams |
28 milliliters = 1 ounce |
5 milliliters = 1 teaspoon |
15 milliliters = 1 tablespoon |
1 liter = a little more than a quart |
Directions:
1. When you know the ounces multiply by 28 to find the grams. 2. When you know the pounds multiply by .45 to find the kilograms. 3. When you know the teaspoons multiply by 5 to find the milliliters. 4. When you know the tablespoons multiply by 15 to find the milliliters. 5. When you know the fluid ounces multiply by 30 to fin the milliliters. 6. When you know the cups multiplyby .24 to know the liters. 7. When you know the pints multiply by .47 to know the liters. 8. When you know the quarts multiply by .95 to know the liters. 9. When you know the gallons multiply by 3.8 to know the liters. 10. When you know the kilograms multiply by 2.2 to find the pounds. 11. When you know the grams multiply by .035 to find the ounces. 12. When you know milliliters multiply .03 to find the fluid ounces. 13. When you know the liters multiply 2.1 to find the pints. 14. When you know the liters multiply 1.06 to find the quarts. 15. When you know the liters multiply .26 to find the gallons. 16. When you know the centimeters multiply 0.4 to find the inches. |
