A delicious cake to make in the fall. A wonderful combination of fruits and nuts. Ingredients:
3 cups flour |
2 cups sugar |
1 cup oil |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
1 teaspoon salt |
2 teaspoons vanilla |
3 eggs, beaten |
3 cups chopped apples |
1 cup chopped walnuts |
1/2 cup raisins |
1/2 cup chopped dates (optional) |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 325. 2. Grease a 9x13 pan. 3. Mix flour, sugar, oil, soda, salt, vanilla and eggs. 4. Stir in apples, nuts, raisins and dates. 5. Spread in pan. 6. Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. |
